Terms of Use
The rules for this website, written to be read rather than skipped.
Last updated September 24, 2026
These terms apply to craftedforgood.co and the tools we run on it, including our contact and intake forms, our booking tool, and our document signing tool. By using the site, you are agreeing to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
"We," "us," and "our" mean Crafted for Good. "You" means you, and the organization you are acting for if you are here on their behalf.
This site is information, not advice
Everything on this site is general information about what we do. It is not legal advice, financial advice, tax advice, compliance advice, or human resources advice for your particular situation, and reading it does not make us your consultant, your counsel, or your advisor. Your organization is different from every other organization, which is rather the point of our work. Before you act on anything you read here, talk to us or to someone qualified who knows your specifics.
We work hard to keep this site accurate and current. We do not promise that it is complete, error free, or up to date at every moment.
Our content and our marks
The writing, illustrations, layouts, code, and design of this site belong to us or to the people we licensed them from. So do the Crafted for Good name, the origami owl, the wordmark, the spark motif, and the names of the tools in our toolkit.
You are welcome to read this site, share links to it, and quote a reasonable amount of it with credit. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or adapt it for your own commercial use, use our marks in a way that suggests we endorse or are affiliated with something we are not, or scrape the site by automated means without our written permission. If you want to use something of ours, ask. The answer is often yes.
Using our tools
When you use the forms, the booking tool, or the signing tool, you agree to:
- Give accurate information, and to have the authority to give it if it belongs to an organization
- Use these tools for their actual purpose, not to spam, harass, test, or overload them
- Leave the security of the site alone, including any attempt to gain access to anything not meant for you
- Not upload anything malicious, unlawful, or infringing
We may decline, cancel, or reschedule a booking, and we may remove a submission or restrict access to our tools, if any of the above is not being honored.
Software subscriptions
Glimmer, Room Temp, and Captain Now are software products from Crafted for Good. The product page and the plan or agreement you choose describe what is included, the price, and how you are billed. Any separate agreement your organization signs with us takes precedence where it differs from these website terms.
Our Refund Policy explains cancellations, refunds, implementation work, and payment plans. Read it before you buy. If you are unsure which terms apply to what you need, email hello@craftedforgood.co before you purchase.
Ideas you send us
We invite people to tell us what tool is missing, and we mean it. When you send us an idea, a suggestion, a feature request, or feedback of any kind, you are giving us permission to use it, build on it, and improve our tools with it, without owing you payment, credit, or confidentiality. We will not publish your name or your organization alongside it without asking you first.
This does not apply to information you share with us under a signed agreement or a confidentiality obligation. That stays confidential on the terms we agreed to.
If we are working together
These terms cover this website. The actual services we provide are governed by the agreement your organization signs with us, including any statement of work, business associate agreement, or confidentiality terms in it. Where these terms and your agreement differ, your agreement wins.
Links to other sites
We link to other organizations, tools, and resources when they are useful. We do not control them, we are not responsible for them, and a link is not an endorsement of everything they do. Their terms and their privacy practices are their own.
Availability
We aim to keep this site and its tools running and to fix things quickly when they break. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free service, and we may change, suspend, or retire any part of the site at any time. The site and its tools are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Crafted for Good and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of your use of this website or its tools. Our total liability for any claim relating to this website will not exceed one hundred dollars, or the amount you paid us for access to the website, whichever is greater.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Your responsibility
You agree to cover us for any claims, losses, or costs that come out of your misuse of this website, your violation of these terms, or your violation of someone else's rights.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site changes. When we do, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will make it obvious rather than quietly editing a line. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and we both consent to that jurisdiction.
Questions
If something here is unclear or you want permission for something, write to hello@craftedforgood.co. A person will answer.
See also our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and why.
Rather just talk
We would rather you ask.
If any of this raises a question, or you want to use something of ours, get in touch and we will give you a straight answer.
