Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 20, 2026
We want you to feel good about what you buy from us. This page explains what happens if you need to cancel something, and when money comes back. If anything here is unclear, email us at hello@craftedforgood.co and we'll walk through it with you.
If you have a signed agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over this page.
1. Software subscriptions
This covers Room Temp, Captain Now, and Glimmer.
You can cancel a monthly subscription at any time. When you do, you choose what happens next:
- Get the unused part back. We refund the remaining days in your current billing period and your access ends right away.
- Keep using it until the end. Your subscription stays active through your next billing date, and it doesn't renew after that.
Either way, we don't charge a cancellation fee and we don't require notice.
Annual plans run to the end of the term you paid for. If you cancel an annual plan, it won't renew, and you keep access until the term ends. We don't refund the unused part of an annual plan.
2. Day passes
Room Temp day passes are refundable in full if the pass hasn't been used. Once a pass has been used to run a session, it isn't refundable, because the thing you bought already happened.
3. Implementation
Implementation is the work of getting Glimmer set up around your organization. It's a one-time fee, separate from your subscription.
- Before work begins, implementation is fully refundable.
- Once work begins, implementation isn't refundable. The work is done, the setup is yours, and it stays yours even if you cancel your subscription later.
"Work begins" means the first working session or the first setup we do on your behalf, whichever comes first. We'll tell you when that point is coming so it's never a surprise.
This applies to both setup options, whether you set it up yourself with our help or we do it for you.
4. Services and consulting
This covers the Org Snapshot, From the Outside Looking In, Culture Rebuild, packages, and any other consulting engagement.
Packages start with a 50% deposit, and deposits aren't refundable. A deposit holds your place in our schedule, which means turning other work away.
If you end an engagement early, we bill through the work we've completed, plus any sessions already scheduled in the next 30 days. Anything beyond that is released and you owe nothing further.
Retainers need 30 days written notice. The current month isn't refunded, and the retainer ends at the close of the following month.
We count "work completed" honestly. If we've done less than you've paid, the difference comes back to you.
5. Payment plans
A payment plan spreads the cost of an engagement over time. It doesn't change what the engagement costs or what's owed for work already done.
If you end an engagement early while on a payment plan, the balance for completed work is still due, and anything beyond that is released. This works in both directions. If your payments so far are more than the work we've completed, we refund the difference.
6. Funded for Good sponsorships
When you sponsor a project through Funded for Good, you're purchasing a defined piece of work for a specific organization. You aren't making a donation, and no part of a sponsorship is tax deductible.
Before work begins, you can cancel a sponsorship for a full refund.
Once work is underway, sponsorships aren't refundable, because the work is being delivered to the organization you chose.
If the organization becomes unreachable partway through, we'll tell you. We consider an organization unreachable after three attempts to contact them over four weeks with no response. When that happens, you choose one of two things:
- We refund the portion of your sponsorship that wasn't completed.
- We move your full sponsorship amount to another project and cover any difference ourselves, so the new project is fully funded.
You have 30 days to choose. If we don't hear from you, we issue the refund.
7. When we end an engagement
Sometimes we're the ones who need to stop. That might be because we're not the right fit, because the work has changed into something we can't do well, or because continuing wouldn't be safe or right for the people involved.
If we end an engagement, we bill only for work completed and refund anything you've paid beyond that, including any deposit.
8. How to ask for a refund
Email hello@craftedforgood.co and tell us what you need. We'll confirm within two business days and process approved refunds within ten business days, back to the original payment method.
