Leigh Raye Carpenter is a co founder and Chief Executive Officer of Crafted for Good, where she leads strategy, program design, and the human side of how organizations work. She has spent her career building experiences that bring people in, from a decade in higher education creating access focused programs to nonprofit work rooted in human centered operations. She has a real gift for looking at how something actually works and rebuilding it around the people involved, and a designer's eye that shows up in everything she touches. Leigh is an artist who once considered graphic and interior design as a career. She paints, she takes Polaroids, and she loves a polished, thoughtful finish, the kind of care that makes an organization feel as considered as it is capable. She brings that same eye for beauty and detail to the strategies, programs, and systems she designs for the organizations Crafted for Good serves.
Deanna Murry
Co founder and Chief Operating Officer
Deanna Murry is a co founder and Chief Operating Officer of Crafted for Good, where she builds the software, systems, and infrastructure that keep good work running. But she did not start behind a laptop. She spent more than ten years in direct care and programs across behavioral health and youth serving organizations, on the floor, in the work, beside the people being served. That frontline view shapes everything she builds now, because she has lived what happens when the systems fail the people doing the mission, and she designs so they never do. Her whole aim is to take work off the people providing the services, to give time back, so they can get back to the mission. Deanna is a maker at heart, happiest when she is creating something that makes life better for someone else, whether that is a compliance system or a play structure for her sons. She loves learning new things and she loves a good puzzle, which is exactly why she thrives in this work: where others see problems or roadblocks, she sees a challenge to solve, and she will always find the answer that best supports the people she is working with. An animal lover, she can usually be found spending her free time outside with her goats and her pigs.
